duroTUF TPO

duroTUF TPO membrane is a high quality TPO (ThermoPlastic Polyolefin) which has been formed into a membrane sheet and reinforced with a heavy duty polyester scrim, used to provide waterproofing protection for a variety of roofing and exterior deck applications. The duroTUF TPO membrane is reinforced with polyester fabric to provide excellent wind uplift resistance, puncture resistance and finished physical properties. TPO formulation was developed to allow for extreme pliability, flexibility and weldability during installation. Along with such installation advantages, our TPO’s state-of-the-art formulation helps our product to resist extreme weather conditions, including ultraviolet radiation and high surface temperatures

duroTUF TPO membrane is a single ply polyester reinforced thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) membrane system which comes in 3.0m wide rolls by 30.0m long with the option of 1.14mm and 1.5mm thick.

The duroTUF TPO option will provide significantly less laps in compared with other options with excellent lap bonding. duroTUF TPO is also available in a fleece back which is used in acoustic deck systems and where substrates will have movement issues.

The duroTUF TPO membrane system complies with the NZBC as an alternative solution and is BRANZ appraised (950) to be used on roofs and decks.

duroTUF TPO is a suitable substrate for timber raft systems, tileJAKs and when used with the ABS Schluter 25 uncoupling system. A ceramic tiled finish can be achieved making duroTUF TPO a very good product selection. The in service history of TPO membranes in New Zealand is now 13 years without any issues.

The duroTUF TPO has a 20 year warranty document which comes with a maintenance schedule for the owners with guidance notes. Detailed drawings are available in MOD, DWG and PDF formats.
